This May, we had the privilege of attending the Podim Conference in Maribor, Slovenia! As one of Europe’s premier tech and startup events, Podim connects innovative startups from the CEE region with global investors, corporations, and established businesses eager to collaborate with startups. Focused on deep-tech ventures, particularly in software and connected hardware, Podim hand-picks only 150 startups to attend, and we are honored to have been part of this exclusive group.
Highlights from Podim
From May 17 to 18, we immersed ourselves in one of the best opportunities to network with leading startup and tech entrepreneurs from the CEE region. Podim provided the perfect platform to connect with like-minded individuals, learn about cutting-edge innovations, and explore new business opportunities.
Our favorite part of Podim was the incredible lineup of speakers. Standouts included Joc Pečečnik, Paulina Sygulska Tenner, Zoltan A. Vardy, Hajdi Cenan, Petra Mo, Stoyan Yankov, and Tina Ruseva. They shared inspiring insights on purpose-driven ventures, creating exceptional company cultures, and personal growth as a founder. A memorable moment? Paulina Sygulska Tenner spoke about how her experience as a burlesque dancer helped her become a better leader—a unique and fascinating perspective!
We also loved the diverse setup of the event. It featured:
